about
I wrote this song while briefly living in Santa Barbara with some amazing friends. It was a period in which I experienced great personal growth and had a lot on my mind to reflect on and express. This is the first track I've ever released with me singing, and it was such a beautiful process to create.
lyrics
Moon out howling,
Don't go back again,
I need you to tell me
Where the trail begins and ends.
You're the one makes the tide come in,
Wave by wave by wave, wash away the sand.
In the sky singing navy and gray,
Night bus empty, but keep it entertained
'Cause the air needs to hear it, tell it what I have to say -
Tell it what I want to say.
Cold mist wafts through streets like a phantom,
Streetlamp stare, starward sigh that says,
"I'll be there soon."
"It's not so far as it looks."
